Welcome to AAUW Silicon Valley, CA

We welcome you to the AAUW Silicon Valley website. AAUW has been in this area for nearly 100 years. Our branch began in 2023 with the merger of the Palo Alto Branch (est. 1930) and the Los Altos-Mountain View branch (est. 1953). We look forward to continuing the projects and activities of both branches and creating new initiatives that promote equity for women in the 21st century, in support of AAUW’s mission to advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. To see more about our new national 2025 Strategic Plan: Empowering Equity Through Education see the link in the right column: View AAUW’s Strategic Plan.
