Welcome to AAUW Silicon Valley, CA

We welcome you to the AAUW Silicon Valley website. AAUW has been in this area for close to 100 years. Our branch began in 2023 with the merger of  the Palo Alto Branch (est. 1930) and the Los Altos-Mountain View branch (est. 1953). We look forward to continuing the projects and activities of both branches and creating new projects and activities that will work for equity for women in the 21st century in support of AAUW’s mission of  Advancing gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy.

During the month of March, we encourage support of our fundraiser for Tech Trek

TECH TREK Needs YOU! $5000 is the goal for AAUW Silicon Valley’s part to send 10 Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Mountain View middle school girls to resident camp at the University of Santa Clara and 6 girls to virtual camp this summer, July 2025. We are already $1400 toward our goal thanks to donations from the AAUW SV board.  With your member support we’ll make it! Beginning March 1, 2025, raise the funds by April 1, 2025. Please, be as generous as you can. Mail your check “pay to” AAUW CA SPF before April 1!
**Write Tech Trek on the memo line. ** Remember, donations are tax deductible. Anyone can donate – not just AAUW members. Contact Tech Trek Treasurer Claire Noonan for mailing instructions (available in newsletter for members only). Your check “pay to” AAUW CA SPF will be sent to our AAUW CA SPF treasurer to register Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Mountain View girls for their summer interactive STEM adventure! The non-profit AAUW CA SPF tax id is: #68-0463071.
