Here’s the nitty-gritty: Our current (11/2024) membership dues are:
– Members: $114 ($72 are tax deductible) = National $72 + State $20 + Branch $22
– Lifetime National Members: $1,400 (one-time payment, fully tax deductible, never again pay the National part of dues)
– Matriculated College Students: Free for students at AAUW member schools (currently none are in our county); $38.81 for non-member schools ($16.82 are tax deductible)
– Shape the Future Campaign discount rate*: $78 ($36 are tax deductible)
*New members receive 50% off National dues when they join at AAUW events. A check-out code is available from our membership chair.
For members joining 5/2022 and later, renewal will be 12 months following your initial join date. For members who joined before 5/2022, your membership will renew with the fiscal year – July 1. National AAUW will send you an email reminder when it’s close to your renewal date.
ONLINE PAYMENT is highly encouraged. Our branch will automatically be notified when you join or renew and you’ll receive a receipt via email. A 5- minute video is available, explaining how to renew, (also relevant to new members) using AAUW’s Community Hub. This is also where you can customize your profile with AAUW (add degrees and change contact information, including mail and email preferences).
