AAUW FUNDS – TECH TREK
The AAUW Funds promote equity for women and girls by supporting the crucial work of AAUW, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization! Check the information on current strategic funding priorities and learn how to contribute to AAUW’s work in general and to the areas of Legal Advocacy, Education, Advocacy, Research, or Leadership by visiting Donate to AAUW today. You can donate online, by mail, or by phone.
AAUW offers a variety of fellowships and grants. The application deadline for all is Nov. 15, annually, for awards in the following academic/program year. Between FY20 and FY25, AAUW awarded $29.6M in fellowships and grants to 1,538 women and community projects. The 31 current recipients for 2024-2025 who are either California residents or studying or leading projects in California are profiled on the AAUW CA website, with short video presentations. These exceptional recipients will pursue academic work and lead innovative community projects to empower women and girls. Will you be next?
Tech Trek – Our branch sponsors attendance at Tech Trek. If you would like to support this program, please make your check payable to “AAUW CA SPF” with “Tech Trek” on the memo line. Local Rotary and Kiwanis groups provide substantial support to our Tech Trek program. Many thanks to all who contributed to Tech Trek in the 2024-2025 year. Because of your generosity, in July sixteen girls attended Tech Trek Camp Hopper at Santa Clara University and four participated in Virtual Tech Trek from their homes. The girls were nominated by their science and math teachers from Palo Alto, Los Altos and Mountain View middle schools.
